Remember those days when "pro-choice" was a movement whose aim was purely intentioned to allow women-and society-basic control over their own bodies? When it was an
enlightened cause pursued by the secular and non-orthodox; when it was actually a matter of women's' freedom?
Let all grim nostalgia and realities of a past movement fade. The enlightened, freedom-loving period of "pro-choice", as it relates to you, me, and the unborn is slowly dying. Replacing it
is the angry, unmasked Nazism of a formerly nice and smiling phenomenon, and that phenomenon is called "pro-abortion". This evolution from "pro-choice" to "pro-abortion" is
embodied in the behavior of Abortion Rights groups. They who have formerly preached the gospel of a woman having a say in the mechanics of her body are now waging violent
societal attacks on all venues of a woman exercising that say, leaving all but one venue left for the woman to straggle down: abortion. In a sense, Abortion Rights activists are becoming
that which they originally coalesced to combat: the concept of government and society restricting a woman's right to control her body. Name the choice, and the movement wrongly
known as "pro-choice" has combated it: prenatal care for fetuses with abnormalities, adoption assistance, reasonable day-care facilities, the dissemination of fetus development
information, etc. In addition to these atrocities against woman's rights, Abortion Rights activists have waged indirect warfare on pregnant women. They support minimum-wage
increases, which effectively decrease the number of low-end positions available, making it harder for a college mom to find part time work for additional money. They force all day-care
providers to carry licenses and degrees in early childhood education, a policy that severely diminishes the number of individuals available to provide child care service for working
moms. They downright lie to the public with fallacious information, promulgating it left and right that a fetus is nothing more than a blob of cells. They produce movies and other
recreational media that humiliates virgins among teenage audiences into losing their virginity just to conform to the standards of a promiscuous society. As individuals, they do their
part, to greatest extent of its capacity to ensure that not a single uninvited unborn goes un-aborted. That last statement is backed up by the statistic that over 50% of women who
aborted straightforwardly admitted that they had no choice in the matter, whereas over 80% stated that they would have bore their babies had circumstances permitted. (Only 2% of
abortive moms claimed that they would not have let their child live under any circumstances.) I ask, what could possibly have served as a permitting circumstance for those mothers to
have saved their children? Adequate daycare, a chance at adoption, or insurance coverage for embryo donation? Moral support and societal tolerance?
Whatever these circumstances are or may be, Abortion Rights activists either lift no finger to welcome them or downright wage war against them. Liberal New York State is currently
fighting a jihad against pro-life clinics, and California has recently obliterated several nonprofit childcare facilities that were designed for low-income women. What do they care what
clinics practice, or, more to the point, what women choose?
I should not be complaining. As "pro-choice" defects from the basic premise of a woman's right to choose, those who support the premise will consistantly defect from them. Our
advertising campaigns must portray this reality to win the war against them.
And win we will. We, the pro-lifers are armed and ready to pounce on this evil movement that is responsible for so much murder and bloodshed. We will fight the forces of death with
the options that we offer through clinics around the country, but we will war with love, not vengeance in our hearts. We are no longer a suppressed group of fanatics, but an army of
compassion that has science on our side, while our opponent has only lies, deceit, and intimidation left on theirs. I am sitting here watching with my own eyes as Abortion Rights groups
walk towards their own demise, with nowhere to go but further, as the army of life tears down each embryological lie with cold, hard science; each mythical support for "choice" with
true choice. The tables have turned, and it is now the Abortion Right groups who are the fanatical opponents of a woman's freedom.
