In the fall of 1996, I was working with a local band, helping them create their web site. They gave me their bio, which contained a list of "band likes" and "band hates." Under "band hates" they had listed "pro-lifers."
I couldn't resist. :-)
I smiled at them, and said, "Oh dear - you hate me!"
They looked back with the expression, "Huh?" As they continued to look confused, I said, "You know...pro-lifers..."
The look of "Huh?" changed to a look of "What?!"
"You're pro-life?!" they exclaimed. Really? But you're..."
They didn't finish.....continued....
