  Christina NAME: Christina Dunigan

AGE: 37

POLITICAL AFFILIATION: Republican

HOBBIES: Hiking, backpacking, cooking, reading, fixing up my house, role-play games, surfing the net

POLITICAL PET PEEVES: Bureaucratic balderdash substituting for real solutions. The National Organization for Women and other radical whining groups pretending that they represent "women." I consider it slander. Because of them, people assume that my being female means that I am for abortions (I consider them a sacrament!), I want strangers to care for my children because I can't be bothered with them myself, I am oppressed and helpless and put-upon at every turn, et cetera ad nauseum. One of my dreams is a class action suit in which normal women sue NOW for defamation of character, because I for one am tired of being presented as a brainless, illogical, bloodthirsty floozie.

POLITICIANS I'D VOTE FOR AGAIN: Steve Friend (Personally, he's annoying, but he has great policy ideas)

FAVORITE MOVIE: The Last Unicorn

BOOKS I RECOMMEND: In Necessity and Sorrow; The Search for an Abortionist; Lime 5; The Rebel; Cat's Cradle; Mere Christianity; Out of the Silent Planet

FAVORITE MUSIC: Mozart, Moody Blues, Alan Parsons Project, and the theme song from the "Alf" cartoon

MY ASPIRATIONS: To help get people out of institutions and into the community; to help make abortion unthinkable; to guide my children into being responsible citizens

MY TAKE ON ABORTION: It's an ill wind that blows nobody good. I've worked for the illustrious Mark Crutcher of Life Dynamics and lived to tell the tale. This gives me the scoop on the most notorious prolife organization in the world, and a perspective on the abortion fiasco seldom seen. I've listened to tapes of years worth of National Abortion Federation Risk Management Seminars and Annual Meetings. I've heard things that would make your hair curl. I've uncovered the unscrupulous goings-on at the Centers for Disease Control to gloss over the risks of abortion, to promote the abortion agenda at the cost of women's lives and health, to place ideology over science.

MY TAKE ON CONSERVATISM: Of the current political philosophies, it's the one most conducive to virtue and justice.

ROLE MODELS & HEROS: Mother Teresa, C.S. Lewis, Johnny Eck
